Where can I get my sparring equipment if I want some

You do not need to buy anything equipment wise to start Tae Kwon-Do. Later, when you are ready, HED TKD / HED SPORT will provide your way to get training suits & any other equipment that you need. Once you have decided to train regularly, please ask your instructor for details how to obtain your training suits/equiment they will help/assist you to join the members area of our website. You must get your equipment & things like Doboks (your training suits) only through your HED TKD club & so only through your instructor at the club (who will deliver them to you at the club session, help you with sizing etc). HED SPORT supplies quality equipment to all of our instructors & their students. Safety, comfort etc are our main concern. Respectfully, you cannot use any suits and/or equipment etc within our HED TKD clubs that you obtain elsewhere.

Sparring gear can be obtained from us at any time after you join and so used in the club at any grade, so that you can safely practice sparring. However, you do not need sparring gear to join nor to train in most aspects that dont involve the sparring as such so you do not have to get any initially. Sparring is not a grading requirement until over half way to black belt so you dont need sparring gear for quite a while and even then its purely voluntary when you decide to get it.

May we be clear, beginners and senior grades alike, anyone, can get sparring gear at any time they are ready when they wish. Also there are categories for all grades to compete in tournaments (also competeing is completely voluntary and you do not have to do competitions)

Respectfully, you cannot use any suits and/or equipment etc within our HED TKD clubs that you obtain elsewhere.

When can I grade?

To give you time to learn and practice new skills, there is a minimum time between your gradings. At the early stages you could grade every three to four month intervals. As you get near to black belt level, your gradings are at least 6 to eight month intervals. Your instructor will work with you to make sure that you cover the necessary training.
